The Latin America director of UNAIDS has suggested the Colombian government increase HIV education among youths, according to Colombia Reports. A United Nations study on HIV prevalence in Colombia found that about 152,000 people have HIV and that prevalence of the virus has increased among Colombians ages 15 to 24.
