Housing Works, a New York City–based group that fights the dual epidemics of AIDS and homelessness, will reopen its East New York Community Health Center, according to a Housing Works statement. The center, which is located in Brooklyn, has been open since 1998. It recently underwent renovations in order to provide medical and mental health services to all at-risk individuals, regardless of HIV status. At full operating capacity, the center will support 2,600 new medical clients.
