Mozambique is including a significant amount of funding forits National AIDS Council, which oversees the country’s efforts against HIV, inits 2013 budget, All Africa reports. The move follows a collapse in supportfrom foreign donors. The head of the council denied the donor pullout hadanything to do with allegations of mismanagement, and instead blamed theinternational fiscal crisis for the withdrawal. The head of the council alsoclaims there will be no donor funding at all in 2013.
