Tokes Osubu, executive director of Gay Men of African Descent (GMAD) in New York City, has resigned, Gay City News (GCN) reports. Documents provided to GCN show a deficit of hundreds of thousands of dollars and a sharp decline in overall funding support. Based in Brooklyn, GMAD is the only AIDS group citywide to focus exclusively on HIV prevention among black men who have sex with men.
