Hill Harper
This year, motivated by a thyroid cancer diagnosis almost seven years ago, the actor and author developed an affordable line of skin care products for men and women. In 2012, Harper was serving on a cancer panel organized by President Barack Obama when he began to speculate about the effects on health caused by anything placed on the skin. Harper says his products are also a way to create “a movement that promotes awareness and access to health and wellness.”
