Robert Guillaume
The actor, who won two Emmys for his role as Benson in two different sitcoms, died at his home in Los Angeles in the fall. Initially, reports attributed his death to complications from prostate cancer. But after the release of his death certificate, news accounts cited cardiac arrest aggravated by hypertension and atrial fibrillation (abnormal heart rhythm) as the cause of death. Some news stories also mentioned that Guillaume suffered from type 2 diabetes and dementia.
