Do Your Homework
Before having any type of plastic surgery, make sure your surgeon is board certified. If you want a facial procedure, go to a surgeon who is certified by the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. Don’t go to a surgeon for a nose job (rhinoplasty) if he or she specializes on the body. Feel free to ask to see pictures of their work and to speak with other patients. If a doctor doesn’t have any recent patients who’ve had the work you want done, that may mean he or she doesn’t do many procedures of that kind. Use this as a guide to decide whom you ultimately choose.
